Unfinished Justice: Restitution and Remembrance - Media coverage and press release

On 26th April 2017 the international conference “Unfinished Justice: Restitution and Remembrance” took place at the European Parliament in Brussels. The conference was organized by the European Shoah Legacy Institute (ESLI) in cooperation with other partners and Jewish organizations. The aim of the conference was to discuss issues relating to Holocaust-era assets in the 47 countries that endorsed the Terezin Declaration, with a special focus on the current state of restitution legislation and case law. A major aspect of the conference was launching the Immovable Property Restitution Study that was conducted by ESLI in all the Terezin Declaration countries, and the report is now publicly available on the ESLI website at http://shoahlegacy.org/restitution-of-immovable-property/.
