Conference on social programs available to Holocaust survivors and other victims of Nazi persecution

On 11th and 12th November, Project Manager Anezka Nekovarova had the opportunity to attend a conference on social programs available to Holocaust survivors and other victims of Nazi persecution, which was hosted by Bundesverband Infromation und Beratung für NS-Verfolgte e.V in Cologne, Germany.

The two day conference was attended by representatives from civil society organisations involved in the provision of care services to victims of Nazism, such as JDC Eshel of Israel, social workers, and survivors of Nazism. The first day of the conference focused on particular social programs available to Holocaust survivors and other victims of Nazi persecution, while the second day was devoted to the open discussion on future challenges of organisations involved in the provision of care and auxiliary services.
